Champs de passage

I often wonder when I walk if I am crushing the land with my feet or whether it is the land that bears my steps.

Tents have always been erected on lands in sign of indignation, protest or as means of survival.

I photograph tents being dismantled and create diptychs combining these images with landscape views.

I'm interested in the borderline between two territories.

I played with surfaces creating dominance, breakages and visual shifts trying to express the ways we apprehend a territory.
